The ceramic bowl and tea-light holder are both removable, meaning it is effortless to clean and any risk of the wood warping because of water exposure is eliminated. This also means if you remove the ceramic bowl it can also function as a nice candle holder with multiple windows to let the warm light shine through and the bowl can function for many other things such as a smudge bowl etc. 

A quality finish provides the burner with protection from residue of essential oils or wax melts and with a quick rinse of the bowl under hot water will eliminate any traces that would cause cross-contamination.

Note: This is the max quantity to fill the bowl to the brim. However, we do recommend allowing some room for expansion and to prevent spillage.
